To gain more insight into the personal experience and perception of the candidate during his/her life, it can be useful to quietly challenge the candidate to reflect more deeply on the different phases of life. Stimulating candidates to uncover deeper memories per life stage will reveal insights and patterns for both the candidate and the coach/counselor that provide clues to consider and possibly explain themes in the present from history. Completing the questionnaire is an intervention in itself and therefore has double added value as an experience and as a result.
