Industrial Electrical Technician

Maintains and repairs electrical installations in a production environment and resolves faults that directly affect the production line.
The industrial electrical technician works within a production environment where a fault immediately halts the whole line. Unlike an electrical technician working on building installations, the emphasis here is on production-critical electrical work and speed of action. Selection often tests knowledge of wiring diagrams, while the ability to locate a fault in a production line under time pressure without stopping it longer than necessary is often missed.
