Builds facades, walls and foundations to bonding pattern and measurement, and applies mortar and insulation materials on site.

The bricklayer works in the shell construction phase and delivers work the rest of the build depends on. The distinction from a general construction worker lies in the craft around bonding, pointing and watertightness. In practice pace is often weighted more heavily than pointing quality, while the latter is what causes costly facade damage later.
