Construction Quality Inspector

Tests completed construction work against standards and quality requirements, records deviations and monitors follow up of corrections.

The quality inspector often works apart from the execution crew, which enables independent judgement but can also create tension. The distinction from a site inspector lies in the focus on measurable quality standards rather than general specification oversight. Selection often fails on candidates who spot deviations well but show insufficient persistence to actually get corrections enforced.
