Construction Project Manager

Holds overall responsibility for a construction project from planning to handover, safeguarding budget, schedule and client relationship.

The project manager steers across multiple disciplines and subcontractors and is the point of contact for the client. The distinction from a site supervisor lies in the broader scope over budget, contracts and several sites at once. Selection often fails on candidates with a strong technical background but insufficient experience managing conflicting interests between client and subcontractors.
