Installs and maintains sanitary and water pipe systems, connects appliances and resolves leaks and blockages.
The plumber works both on new build sites and on faults in existing homes, often alone in the client's house. The distinction from a heating installer lies in the focus on sanitary and water pipework rather than heating technology. In practice selection fails on interpersonal skill in the client's home, while technical knowledge is usually already in order.
