The mortgage advisor deals with one of the biggest financial decisions a client will ever make and carries personal responsibility for suitable advice. The distinction from a client advisor lies in the regulated, licence-bound nature of the profession. Selection often fails on candidates who are commercially strong but only reveal a missing valid regulatory qualification late in the process.
