Construction Supervisor

Directs the day to day execution of the construction project on site, schedules tradespeople and safeguards quality, safety and planning.

The site supervisor is the point of contact on site and constantly switches between subcontractors, planning and the work preparer. The distinction from a project leader lies in operational, day to day steering on site itself rather than remotely. Selection often fails on candidates with strong technical knowledge but too little authority to hold subcontractors to agreements.
