Banqueting Staff

Also known as: Banqueting Staff · Events Waiter

Handles service and setup at large events, weddings and business gatherings, working to a tight schedule and run of show.

Banqueting staff work in changing teams, sometimes dozens strong, on large scale events where everything must come together at one moment. Unlike a waiter in a fixed restaurant, they often change location and team and must adapt quickly to a new run of show. Selection often fails to test whether a candidate keeps working in a structured way under the one-off peak pressure of an event with an unfamiliar team.
