Full Stack Developer

Builds both the user facing and the server side of applications and delivers a feature working end to end from screen to database.

The full stack developer works in teams small enough to assign a whole feature to one person. Unlike a specialised frontend or backend developer, this role switches layers within a day and guards the coherence between them. The pitfall in selection is reading breadth as depth: the count of listed technologies gets attention, while the ability to switch context and to decide deliberately what not to build in house is decisive.
