Materials Controller

Manages raw materials, parts and equipment for production or projects, ensuring the right material is available on time.
The materials controller often works between purchasing, production and work preparation and must flag material availability bottlenecks early. The distinction from an inventory controller lies in the focus on specific equipment and material for production or projects rather than general trading stock. Selection often fails on candidates who are administratively strong but lack the technical knowledge to correctly classify materials.
