Order Picker

Also known as: Warehouse picker

Collects products from racking based on order lists or a handheld scanner and stages them for packing and shipment.

The order picker works under time pressure with fixed pick rates and repeats the same movements many times per shift. The distinction from a warehouse employee lies in the sharp focus on speed and error-free picking. Selection often fails on candidates who look fast on paper but cannot sustain the pace over a full shift.
