Nursing Team Coach
Also known as: Nursing Team Coach · Clinical Team Coach
Coaches nurses in their professional and personal development on the ward, without formal line management authority over the team.
The nursing team coach guides colleagues in their development, separate from day to day line management. This role is often filled by promoting the most experienced nurse. Coaching, however, is a different skill from being a good nurse yourself, namely helping others grow without taking over the work.
