Activity Support Worker

Also known as: Activity Coordinator · Recreational Support Worker

Organises and guides group and individual activities for clients with a disability or psychological vulnerability, matched to each person's level.

The activity support worker puts together the activity programme and adapts it to the group. The role is often underestimated as just doing fun things with clients. In practice the worker must constantly weigh which activity suits the group's level, without overwhelming or excluding anyone.
