The crm developer works within the boundaries of an existing crm platform, combining configuration with custom code to realise requests from sales and marketing. Unlike a low-code developer, they work within a platform with its own data model and release cycles they do not control. Selection often looks at platform certificates, while advising against a technically possible but unmanageable customisation to a sales manager who wants quick results determines the platform's long term quality in practice.
