Maintenance Planner

Also known as: Maintenance Scheduler · MRO Planner

Schedules maintenance work on machinery and installations, coordinates this with production and monitors parts and capacity.

The maintenance planner turns maintenance demand into a concrete schedule, with the right parts and mechanics at the right time. Unlike a maintenance mechanic, who does the work itself, this role plans the maintenance of several mechanics at once. Selection often tests planning experience, while the ability to weigh maintenance against production planning without either giving up too much is rarely tested.
