Process Technologist

Also known as: Process Engineer · Process Development Technologist

Develops and optimises production processes, analyses process data and translates improvement opportunities into feasible changes.

The process technologist improves existing production processes based on data and technical analysis. Unlike a process operator, who monitors the process, this role works on structurally improving that same process. Selection often tests process content knowledge, while the ability to calculate a process improvement for cost and feasibility is rarely tested.
